Summary: Lois and Clark plan mutual surprises for each other on their first Valentine's Day since the wedding.

It was a cold and windy night in February. Tomorrow, Lois and Clark were going to spend their first Valentine's Day together, since they'd been married. They were very excited. They had the whole day planned out. They were going to go to work at the Daily Planet, as usual, then come home and have a nice, cozy, candlelight dinner for two. Then, after they had their dinner, they are planning get ready for bed and cuddle up with each other on the couch with a bottle of champagne, in front of a bright fire. Clark had a surprise for Lois that she would just love. But would Clark love Lois's surprise?

It was six in the morning when Lois and Clark's alarm went off and Clark tiredly stretched to hit the snooze button. When he turned around to wake Lois, he paused. He was entranced by the beautiful woman lying next to him, snuggled up in the blanket with her arm across him. Clark just lay there, grinning at her. He didn't want to wake but had to because if he didn't they would be a little late for work. Not that Perry would mind, considering that they are usually on time, if not early, working until late at night.
"Lois, honey?" Clark whispered.
"Yeah?" Lois asked.
"It's time to get up."
"Already?" Lois asked very tiredly. "I'm afraid so."
Lois's eyes blinked many times before completely opening her eyes.
"Good morning, sweetheart, " Clark said with a big grin on his face.
"Good morning, Clark," Lois replied. "What are you grinning about, Farmboy?"
Still grinning he asked, "The most beautiful woman in the world is lying next to me and you wanna know why I grin?"
"Yeah," Lois responded, smiling.
"Because I love you!"
"Aww, Clark, I love you, too!"

They got to the Daily Planet.
Perry greeted them, along with Jimmy. Lois and Clark greeted them, then they all got to work.
"Honey, don't forget you have that annual exam at the doctor's today, " Clark reminded Lois.
"I know!" Lois replied defensively.
"All right. I'm sorry, honey."
"It's all right. I love that you care enough about me to remind me."

At doctor's office at 1:00 in the afternoon, Lois got her tests done.
"Lois, it'll just take a couple hours for the results. Where can I reach you?" Dr. Boldino asked.
Lois replied, "Probably at work. You have my number don't you?"
"Yes, thanks."
"Well, bye."
"Happy Valentine's Day! Bye."
"Thanks, you, too."

Lois got back to the Daily Planet twenty minutes after her doctor's appointment. She stopped at Clark's desk to say hello, with a peck on the lips that quickly turned into a passionate kiss.
"Mmmmm…hey, honey," Lois said.
"Hi, sweetheart," Clark replied.
"My test results should be in in around another hour. He's gonna call."
"Good. Are you looking forward to our first Valentine's Day when we're married?"
"I sure am."

An hour passed and then Lois's phone rang. Lois picked it up.
"Hello?" Lois asked.
"Hi, this is the doctor's office with your test results, " the secretary began.
"Yeah?"
"Well, you're pregnant."
Lois was shocked, but happy replied, "Oh my gosh! Thanks, bye!"
"Bye!"

Lois and Clark were at home eating their romantic dinner. After they were done eating, they followed their plan for the night and got ready for bed and cuddled up on the couch together.
Clark began, "Lois, here I bought you something."
"Aww Clark…you didn't have to do that. I didn't even buy you a gift…I'm sorry, " Lois said.
"It's all right."
He gave her the gift he'd bought for her. The gift was a dozen red roses and heart-shaped box with Lois's favorite: chocolate.
"Thanks!" Lois said.
"You're welcome, honey!"
They kissed. Then it led to a more passionate kiss. From the passionate kiss, it led to a more romantic kiss.
Clark said, grinning, "Here's your other surprise."
As they kissed one another, Lois slid Clark's robe off and Clark began to move his hands around her chest, looking for buttons to get Lois's shirt off. When they finally were both naked, Clark giggling, along with Lois, carried them up to their bedroom. Before they got any further Lois interrupted.
"Clark?" Lois asked.
Still kissing her all over he asked, "What?"
"This is very important and serious, Clark. I think you'll find it a wonderful surprise just like I did."
Clark stopped and looked and listened to Lois.
Clark asked, "What is it, honey?"
"I'm…I'm…I …" She smiled. "I'm pregnant!"
Clark, shocked but happy just like Lois, was able to respond and said, "That's great! I love you so much!"
"I love you, too!"
The rest of the night they made love and held each other in each other's arms.
