Summary: A short story that tests Lois and Clark's "patience" on their wedding day.

***

It was the day before Lois and Clark's wedding day and they were sitting in their separate apartments, bored out of their minds. They'd both agreed that since when they were around each other—mostly alone together—they couldn't be trusted to restrain their hormones. Therefore, they had decided to keep themselves from seeing each other that whole day. So there they were, Clark in his apartment—alone and *totally* bored and Lois in hers—also bored and alone.

Lois decided that she'd take a nap, since there was nothing else she could do. If she couldn't see him in person, she could at least see him in her dreams—where she didn't have to restrain her hormones!<eg> As she drifted off to sleep, over in his apartment—Clark too had decided to take a nap.

A little while later, they were both immersed in a deep sleep and *both* were having erotic dreams of each other. A couple of hours later, Lois woke up and was stunned at how aroused she was from her dreams.

"Woah! I didn't even know I could dream like that!" she said—stunned by the intensity of her dreams.

Over in Clark's apartment—he too was stunned by his dreams. All of a sudden, his phone rang. Picking it up and before even saying "hello", he *knew* it was Lois.

"Hi, Clark, whatcha doin?" she asked. He was shocked by the husky tone of her voice.

"Um, actually I just woke up from a nap. You?" he answered.

"Hey, me too—I just woke up from a nap," she said—stunned by the huskiness of *his* voice.

"Oh, say Lois—I was wondering…oh never mind."

"No, what Clark?"

"Nothing..don't worry about it."

"Oh, okay. Well, I just thought I'd call and see what you were up to. I miss you *so* much and I wish I could see you."

"I miss you, too, Lois…I love you."

"I love you too, Clark. Bye!"

"Bye, Lois."

After hanging up, they sat there—fighting the urge to call each other back.

All of a sudden…Clark got up off the couch and spun into the suit. Lois had wondered into the kitchen, when all of a sudden—she felt a rush of cold air—and she sighed with relief. She *knew**he* had come. She turned around and saw the love of her life—Clark—standing there at the window.

"Oh, Clark!", she exclaimed breathlessly—as she ran over to him.

He picked her up and kissed her for what seemed like forever and then carried her into her bedroom—where they broke their promise. See, before deciding to stay away from each other—they'd also promised to wait until their wedding night to make love for the first time—but when Clark showed up at Lois'—they couldn't stand the waiting anymore and they broke their promise.

THE END

Hope you liked it. :) GG
